Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

Do You Take Insurance?

We do not use insurance for payment and instead use cash pay. By branching away from traditional insurance payments for services, we therefore have the freedom to build/customize a program and therapy plan that best meets your child’s needs. This allows us to meet with you at a personal level and provide therapy without limitations.

What Is “Preferred Location” Therapy?

Therapy can be provided in your child’s natural setting where their everyday activities take place or in the setting where
the most support is needed. This can include in-home, at your child’s day care or private school, virtual sessions, or even
in a community setting of your choice that is most convenient for you.

What Kind Of Outings Are Included in the Lifestyle Enrichment Program?

The possibilities really are endless. Community activities include anything you wanted to try with your child but were
maybe hesitant or you’re just looking for additional strategies to support your child in a new adventure. This is not limited
to, but can include attending any of the following: Library program, The Children’s Museum, Restaurants, Movie Theaters, Bowling, Waterparks, Birthday Parties, and Sports Games.
If you have an activity in mind, please don’t hesitate to discuss the options with your therapist and we will aim to make it happen if possible!

Do You Offer a Payment Plan?

Payment for therapy sessions are due at the time of therapy session or automatic billing will be applied to a credit card
that is on file with us. There are incentives for bulk/advanced payments. Please discuss with us if this is of interest to you and we will provide

additional information.

How Does My Child Get Placed Into a Small Therapy Group?

After completing the initial evaluation, your therapist will identify your child’s developmental areas of needed growth.
These areas include gross motor coordination & motor planning; hand-eye coordination; strength & balance; fine motor
coordination; visual motor & visual perceptual; self-help; social, emotional, & attention; and sensory processing. At the time of developing your child’s therapy plan, your therapist will discuss small group options if you are interested, and the available sessions for children with shared goal areas in developmentally similar levels.

How Often Do Small Therapy Groups Meet?

Groups would meet one time per week for one hour at a designated location. You have the option of enrolling in as few or as many weekly groups as you would like. You can choose to be in group only therapy or add a group to your weekly 1:1 sessions.

How Do I Get Started?

First, contact us via email or the contact form below. After that, we will provide you an intake form that will give us brief information about your child and the areas you are looking for additional support. Once we receive that information, we will set up a free consultation or phone screening, and begin developing a customized therapy plan. Click here for a more in-depth breakdown of our process.
